As a kid, I was always so excited about going to school the week before the holidays because so many teachers would have a magical celebration waiting for us. As a teacher, I learned that the “magical celebration” actually costs teachers about $150+ and two weeks of prep.

It’s funny, my shirt is by @lululemon and I love their clothes, but it was a gift because they are not quite in a teacher’s budget, and they don’t offer a “teacher discount.” And they call their employees “educators”👀 RT this if Lululemon should have a discount for teachers.🤷🏻‍♂️

Dear Companies, Please, please, please hold off on your “back to school” campaigns and advertisements until August. We desperately need a few weeks to NOT think of anything school related, especially after this past year. -Mentally Exhausted and Emotionally Drained Teachers

I can’t believe I have to say this, BUT teachers can love teaching and care deeply about their students, AND, at the same time, be happy that the school year is almost over.

Guy at the UNT graduation just got his diploma, walked off stage, passed his seat, flipped off the camera, and walked out. Incredible 😂

Ever wondered what the difference b/w an experienced/inexperienced teacher is, it's the ability to understand that everyone has different background knowledge& preconceived misconceptions about the topic and you have to convince them this is how it is as well as actually play it
