Successful traders buy the market when it’s going up, and sell it when it’s going down. Unsuccessful traders buy the market when they want the market to go up and sell it when they want it to go down. It’s a subtle but important difference.

Stop taking it personally. There are no guarantees in life, just as there are none in markets. Lean in when things are good, learn to walk away when things are not.
A common mistakes among unsuccessful traders is attaching value to a trade. Value is an investing principle. Traders should focus on making money regardless of value, while investors should only execute based on a value-driven process.
