WRN were approached by a staff member from John Lewis Cheadle who was horrified by this. Staff dare not speak out, customers are unaware of the policy. J L & P places the comfort of men pretending to be women over the privacy, dignity & safety of its majority female customers.
Staff say this is policy and if privacy ( or safety) is required customers can make an appointment. Men need make no appointment and are not required to be in a private space, so women and girls could be stripping off with fully intact men in the bra fitting rooms next to them.
Shop in @JohnLewisRetail ? Do they value their female customers? If you or your daughter go for a bra fitting you may find yourself sharing the fitting room with men. John Lewis allows men who claim to be women into their changing rooms with women and girls.

@wesyang Note the political space between "trans" and "women" yet an adherence to English language rules when writing "transfeminine." Every English word prepended by "trans" forms a new compound word. Transwomen are a subset of men, not a subset of women.
I want to keep all men out of female only crisis services. Men abuse self ID laws. If you think that includes “trans people” then you are rightly acknowledging that “transwomen” are men.

There seems to be a new 'right' to bring your 'whole self' or your 'authentic self' to work. Why? How far does this 'right' extend when you're working with children? Giving adults rights to 'express themselves' does not override children's rights to be safeguarded.

JCKC’s views on ‘trans people did not align with her values’. I pointed out we sometimes have to work with people who we disagree with. Cut no ice.
@LucyHunterB I know of a case where the Board didn't correct their Equality Monitoring Form because a staff member who was sitting in on the meeting started to cry. AFAIK it remains uncorrected to this day, so no data for sex is collected to monitor fairness in the org and its activities.
I am always lifted when I hear of a desister or detransitioner, especially so when I hear that the work of @OurDutyGrp was instrumental in helping the parents reconnect their child to reality. We know how hard it is, and also how worthwhile.
