Fawley AFC 🏭 @fawleyafc

Sadly, overnight our club was the subject of a serious incident involving the theft of several main power cables supplying electricity to the entire ground. The incident has affected not only the football club, but also our cricket, bowls and tennis sections, leaving the whole site without power. The police have been on site today carrying out investigations and looking for any evidence that may help identify those responsible. Unfortunately, as a result of the damage, tomorrow’s game against Cove has been postponed. We would like to thank the Wessex League and Cove for their understanding and support. We are extremely disappointed that individuals have felt it acceptable to illegally enter our ground, steal essential equipment and cause significant damage. The cost of repairing the damage will undoubtedly be substantial, and the impact has been felt across the whole club. If anyone was in or around the ground overnight and saw anything suspicious, or has any information that may assist the police, please contact us so that we can pass the information on. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and continued support while we work to get the club back up and running.

@PaulKirton_ @Teamgrassroots_ I gave it put due to demands from the parent club, who saw the youth as a cash point.

@Teamgrassroots_ Everyone trying to make money off the kids. so called parent adult clubs charging a fortune for kids to be part of the club. To inflated 4g cost. The elite, best pro academy setups that still play in the same league as everyone else. To need high ability players for u9 teams post

@Saints_Mike7167 We are 7 points behind the league leaders. With 45 games left to play. Which includes playing the current leaders home and away.

After a fantastic result away at @Horndean_FC today, Totton & Eling were proud to hand full First Team debuts to several of our U18 players. There were also debuts for Cray Rouge, Max Croucher and Charlie McKiernan, all of whom are also under 19. A brilliant achievement.
