It hurt so bad to lose our booster and part of the pad. Hurt even more to sail by it just over 12 hours later on a pre-planned vacation cruise. Parts of the pad still burning. Yet here I am only a few months later and we just stacked the last tower module back on today! I am so happy to see it rising from the ashes and that we will return to flight. I am so proud of Team New Glenn and @blueorigin @davill @JeffBezos @rookisaacman . Thank you for everything and letting me be apart of the team. I took these photos from the same boat. Same time of day. Just happened to be a coincidence to be here at these two times.#itsworthit

@F15sRdaBest I did! My late crew chief buddy of mine, Mike, always said that when a Ferrari and Toyota Corolla had a child together, you got the F-16.

@F15sRdaBest I can count on one hand how many times I’ve done it for JFS not starting. Now because some stupid kid thought he was “funny,” and his “prank” was to hit the trumpet valves on a squadron of birds. That was a lot of jets…. 🤬

@F15sRdaBest I remember pilots always doing JFS start 2. And I would shake my head and pray that thing lit off. Otherwise we’d be a pumping. Unless the off chance that 5 gpm mule was close. Loved when that happened.

We only had two. A system was flight controls and fuel flow proportioner. B system did flight controls, gear, speed brakes, accumulators, and gun drive. EPU would power just the A system when running. Tail hook was pushed down with nitrogen. Gear alt extend was with nitrogen into hyd lines. It’d blow down the gear, usually hitting the doors. The air flow would lock them in. It took forever to bleed those darn things after an alt extend.

F-16 Crew Chief here. I was the unfortunate recipient of an H70 exposure. Block 32 bird that fuel shop pulled the tank but forgot to purge the lines in the EPU. Spooled it during a test and it tried to light. Dripped it out of the exhaust. Pellet was bright purple. Smelled the ammonia. Ran out of the hanger. Still dealing with the issues…. 😞

@rookisaacman I live where the rockets launch! My 15 year old daughter is thinking about a career in aviation. They just started a program here at her high school, but you have to do all four years. She’s already a sophomore. Any chance your back seat is open for a little incentive ride?

Thank you for all kind words. My wife has a long road ahead. The meds she is on really seem to be affecting her memory and cognitive abilities. She writes the updates on Gofundme. Any and all prayers, wishes, and support are appreciated! gofund.me/67dfe863

Thank you so much to Blue Origin @blueorigin and Jared Isaacman @rookisaacman for helping my family in a time of need. My wife was diagnosed in April with stage four metastatic meleonoma. Our friends started a Gofundme to help with the expenses. Jared, out of the kindness of his heart, donated to help my wife and family. It was such a blessing. It took away so much stress and allowed me to focus on family and mission. At the recent @NASA Blue Origin NG-2 Escapade launch, my family finally got to thank him in person. Thank you Jared for helping my family when we needed it the most. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
