Met some other dogs with #sophiefromromania in the park - love how we owners always say “sorry it’s my dog’s fault”….
@ruskin147 It's a dog park tradition, isn't it? 😄 Always blaming our furry friends, but secretly loving every bit of their mischief.
@ruskin147 Well said, prof! Well done both owners!
@ruskin147 As soon as it happened and they were pulled back Sophie (and the other dog) were quite calm. So well done to both dogs and their handlers!!! 👏 Our 3 JRT rescues would have kept barking & snarling, although they have greatly improved compared to their arrival 11 months ago 😊
@ruskin147 Hmm, it was a bit of both. Telling off a forward dog is quite acceptable in the canine world. Interesting she does it with her paw!
@ruskin147 She's not bad with other dogs. Simon must be great to have for referencing.
@ruskin147 Other dog being allowed to approach too quickly. Sophie prefers to have a distant sniff and then move forward maybe.
@ruskin147 Would it be possible to find a safe enclosed green space where Sophie can meet other dogs off the lead? This would be much less scary for her.
@ruskin147 Thought I’d explain my excitement that spring is here Dad. I quite like the look of Pip and hope we meet again soon. 💕🐾🐾
@ruskin147 Our romanian rescue insists and talking to strangers. Tail wagging, eye contact and barking, even if they don't have a dog with them. Obviously not everyone sees this as friendly 🙄 😉
