your subconscious isn’t too picky about fantasy vs reality. your body responds to visualization the same as real experience, especially if we take the time to really sink into the feeling. we thus have a way to shift how we feel, a way to access to the love we always craved

The hardest thing about learning to code is the sense of overwhelm There's a million things to learn, build, study, practice The solution is to decide where you want to end up (a job, a completed project, a skillset) and work backwards from there

accurate picture of a sustainable work habit, especially when learning a new skill like coding if you push the edge of what's "physically possible" each day, you'll burn out the goal is simply to nudge that golden square to be a bit bigger each day, as much as feels sustainable

This is true, but curiosity isn't random. Curiosity can (and must) be encouraged, nurtured, developed. The trick: following your curiosity, in the beginning, looks a lot like "wasting time"
