While cell phones can be used as learning tools, they are also a distraction, often interrupt learning, increase cyber bullying throughout the day and allow students to cheat. Do cell phones really benefit students in class all that effectively, or are they best left tucked away?

A teenager came to my door to trick-or-treat. I smiled and handed him candy. His mom walked up and said, “Thank you. He’s autistic and loves this. Another house refused to give him candy and embarrassed him.” Don’t be that person. Just pass out candy and keep your mouth shut.

In the "Friday Fave" blog post, @Desmos announced that you can form polygons using named points (boom!). It makes some things more elegant to implement, as in this example (desmos.com/calculator/p1p…) Bonus: polygon(A,B) will draw a line from A to B if they are defined as points.
