You can perfectly understand the case of the Cornell 7, and the reaction to it, once you understand that feminists fundamentally reject the idea that women can ever be truly responsible for any wrong doing of any kind. Which is why, when there’s a disgusting drug and alcohol fueled orgy where everyone involved is inebriated, the woman is somehow automatically the victim and the men are somehow automatically responsible. On normal logic, that makes no sense. If alcohol removes consent, then the drunk men have just as valid a claim to being raped as the drunk woman. But feminists aren’t using normal logic. They’re using feminist logic. Which, again, starts with the presupposition that women by definition cannot truly be at fault at all for anything ever. That is simply a brute fact of the universe, in their view. They don’t have to defend it, and don’t, and can’t.

Seems to me, only selection pressure, right political system, & good morals do. Self-expression could be part of capital accumulation

Hereditarians were right again. For decades egalitarians have disrupted Lynn's ~70 IQ estimate for sub-Saharan Africa. The data were sparse, conditions questionable, samples insufficiently representative, tests possibly biased. All true, but the pattern was clear enough given the limitations. Now in 2025 PISA finally included more African countries. Using their values and British natives (born in UK + both parents born in UK), these are the IQs: Kenya 73 Zambia 71 Rwanda 71 Morocco 78 The issue you see on the left is that their performance is at the level of guessing for many students, so the normal distribution becomes compressed and the mean inflated. This is a classic floor effect. I rescored the data for the countries with item-level data using the 3PL model, and this reduces the mean estimates by 2 for Morocco and 5 for Kenya (78→76, 73→68).
