Curious. Many malware analysis/researcher roles in Bengaluru. Are the various skillsets(for MDR & In-house) cheaper there? Are the more senior roles located more geographically sparse? (nvm, mid-to senior salaries are around USD$45K/yr)

“QRampering” could be malicious QR code tampering. But it is not, and it shouldn’t be. Silly names distract, they don't inform. In this case, QR code tampering is an attack that uses QR codes to attract victims. #ThereIsNoQRampus medium.com/@mobilemalware…

The pager thing, that's a supply chain issue, yeah? Older tech, single supplier because someone knew a guy? It means almost all samples, repair manuals, replacement parts, etc. are OSINT for the opponent.

@Scobleizer @cgonfire It’s a lovely story but it’s not true. There wasn’t a first iPhone team, there was a design competition. But even the team that won and produced the iPhone had some people with prior phone experience.
