If there’s 1 thing residency has taught me, it’s learning to feel more comfortable saying that we’ll keep monitoring “x” closely. So many issues self-resolve. Have to resist the pressure to “do something” and really ask yourself if what you’re doing is truly advancing pt care

Hits close to home - It’s hurt me so much to have grown up seeing this phenomenon of diabetes and cardiovascular disease affect my family and community. Hopeful that this study will help us identify specific CVD risk factors in South Asians so we can address this issue head on.
