@girlwhospoke @saruhyoung @Dartziller55 @RogersHelps Your understanding is fundamentally wrong because it was Interac — that used Rogers’s network that was down. As such, any non-Interac debit network would have worked, provided that the processor did not use Rogers’s network as well, such as non-Interac Mastercard/visa debit cards

@girlwhospoke @saruhyoung @Dartziller55 @RogersHelps So if they didn’t use Rogers, where would the issue be?

@girlwhospoke @saruhyoung @Dartziller55 @RogersHelps Any mastercard/visa terminal whose payment processor did not use Rogers network would have accepted DEBIT MC/visa cards. Your wait is over.

My Dad rarely spoke about residential school. However, one thing that stuck with me was his account of how the older boys would position themselves closer to the door in the dorms so the younger boys wouldn’t be chosen when the priests came to get them at night. #215children

I had a conversation about 9/11 earlier about how I'd never forget where I was and how I watched that second plane fly into the tower and how it made me feel. For me, 1/6 is like that but worse because I don't remember half of America rooting for the fucking planes.

Vladimir Putin said today about Hillary and Dems: "In my opinion, it is humiliating. One must be able to lose with dignity." So true!

Could the media please stop using the phrase "Western Alienation"? I think I can speak for BC residents in saying we are not 'alienated". Let's call it what it is, an Alberta tantrum.
