@adotwill The blonde espresso was a huge improvement. Their usual blend tastes like ashes and grass

Use it all the time. Never tried a stainless one I'd expect it's no different brew-wise. Main knock against is the price, but no plastic. It's bulkier and weighs more than a pound so best to keep it in one place. Lots of ways to tweak aeropress recipe but overall takes about 2 minutes. Rinsing the filter is nothing, just set it up without coffee inside and pour water through. Can reuse paper filters several times. Can also get a metal filter but I like the cleaner cup from a paper one.

Cormac McCarthy nailed it when he described distant cars moving on a causeway as "the slow cellular crawl of water drops on a wire"

Comedy specials should be judged as acts or "hours," not as compilations of discrete jokes. This hour is full of levity and dare I say Ridiculous as a whole.

I'm not saying this is a great joke or whatever but I think people are reading it too literally. Part of the joke is that he's inhabiting the persona of an unreasonable curmudgeon. The entire bit obviously isn't "the person who said it's a nice day is an idiot"
