@canredcrossnl @StJohnsRegatta Came across a little guy wearing an orange t-shirt outside the event (at the bus stop) who was separated from his friend’s mum. I walked him to a Metro Bus dispatcher who, after speaking to the little guy and said they would get him home safely. ♥️ Wish I had brought him to you.

A downtown resident came upon some officers doing proactive outreach in the neighbourhood this week and said, “thank you for making my child’s first interaction with uniformed officers so positive. She now knows who to ask for help if she needs.”

I received a box from Wheelock (Vermont, US). When I opened it, there was a handmade quilt & letter. The sender, Beth, wrote, “I’ve made you a quilt to celebrate your dedication to helping us find our inner joy ... during some very dark days.” Oh World, this means huge to me! 🙏🏽

We blocked the convoy in our neighbourhood this morning at Riverside at Bank. We started with about 25 people with hundreds more who have joined in solidarity. We made sure residents could get through but kept the convoy here. #Ottawa #OttawaOccupied #Ottnews
