To be effective in communication, your frame of reference needs to be right. In the climate crisis area, 1 "message" I see that gets this wrong is about saving the planet. Wrong. As the late, great George Carlin said; "The planet will be fine (eventually), people are f****d"!

Jane Goodall asks the ultimate question; "How is it possible that the most intellectual being that ever walked the planet is destroying it's only home?" I'd say, short term thinking & selfish survival strategies. How do you explain it & what can each of us do to change it?

Catching up on my “things to do before Christmas” today. 1st was the VAT return - boring, but much more exciting was following through on my pledge to plant a tree for each piece of work I do. It was a great feeling to order three Oak trees 🌳 🌳 🌳 to be planted today.
