@seunokin If we don’t end the Almajiri system now, we should be ready for another monster that will be worse than banditry and Boko Haram.

@dawisu We must call for an end to the Almajiri system, which acts as a grooming ground for future terrorists. Boko Haram and bandits do not just appear out of nowhere; they are largely drawn from the thousands of out-of-school children in northern Nigeria."

@Onsogbu Any local government that does not know what a school should look like should look it up on YouTube. Building schools for children should not be this difficult. Schools should be better than our most elite homes, because the environment shapes children's thoughts and how they…

@Ngncitizen1 @MalcolmAlkalee We all need to work together to get them off the streets quickly . No child deserves that condition. They need to be cared for and raised in a conducive environment. That way, we would reduce the recruitment pool of bandits and Boko Haram.

@Ngncitizen1 @MalcolmAlkalee You do not need to agree, but no number of soldiers deployed to the North will end the banditry and Boko Haram monster. As long as millions of children are out of school, the end of banditry and Boko Haram is not in sight. End Almajiri #

@nazir_xyz @MalcolmAlkalee Complaining about banditry while making no effort to reform the Almajiri system shows a failure to recognize the root causes of insecurity in the North. Without addressing the systemic neglect of these children, we are ignoring an impending disaster. Leaving millions of kids…

@MalcolmAlkalee Banditry did not emerge out of nowhere; it persists bcause the barbaric Almajiri system provides a steady stream of recruits for terrorist networks. We cannot leave millions of children out of school in the North and expect to escape disaster. If the region wants lasting peace…
