It’s baffling to me that some Christians can ask themselves, “what would Jesus do?” and come up with an answer that includes mocking, degrading, and exploiting other people.
I am appalled at the ridicule directed at Gus Walz, especially by those calling themselves Christians. Have people been so co-opted by toxic masculinity and partisan politics that they can't even watch a young man shed tears of love and embrace his father without mocking him?

A Christian movement that demands its fellow citizens be held accountable to the strictest of Biblical laws while simultaneously not wanting its preferred presidential candidate to be held accountable to any law is embodying the height of both political and religious hypocrisy.
