Modern Christianity has become feckless, as a result of false teaching. There is nothing for us to do, when the Bible tells us repetitively, we must repent and be filled with God’s Spirit.

Sincere Christians are the greatest people in the world. I always come away encouraged , when I am with them, as I was Sunday . The Spears and the Springs Fellowship are a blessing.

These are , by some, the worst of times. I understand what they are saying & I agree to the extent that the world is waxing worse. However , here at Livingway S A, these are the best of times. God is blessing us more than ever with souls, miracles & financially. God is good.

I have noticed that in the newer movies and tv programs, some times the background music is so loud it nearly overpowers the dialogue. Similarly, in some churches it seems the gospel is over powered by what should be back ground.

2 Corinthians 4:3 KJVS [3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: Mark 16:15 KJVS [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. I hear a lot of preaching, very little gospel.

To those that died recently in Chicago, Memphis, and Uvalde, to those that have been aborted ,climate change will never matter. Much of what our government is doing is like making sure the dock in New York was perfectly prepared for the Titanic’s arrival.

Preaching platitudes, rather than transforming truth, gives both the preacher and the hearer the misconception that he or she is hitting the bulls eye when they are not even near the target.

The present day church seems to have no problem trivializing truth. One example , Jesus’ emphasis on water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
