Traits of a mid-level developer: - Unnecessarily harsh in code reviews. - Resentment and fear of "old" libraries. - Blindly obeying "best practices" and clean code dogma. I recognize a senior when I see flexibility and focus on the purpose, not the specific tools or practices.

When the sun is at its highest point is not normally at 12 midday, In Spain for example at the moment the solar noon as at 2pm, because of China's single timezone it as after 3pm in some Western parts. This shows the time of the solar noon for places around the world. #dataviz

i recently discovered the JSDoc comment form of TypeScript (typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/…) and it is a goddamn revelation. i'm making last-minute refactors to election code so much more confidently than I otherwise could, but I'm not imposing TS on my coworkers
