I’ve met so many people in higher ed with million $ problems who straight up won’t recognise these problems. One of the best things a university could do is commission-incentivise its sales staff. That or measure their outputs properly.

Spoke to 2 people this wk re: a service I'm seeking. One tried to DQ me early, got me selling to myself, was contrarian, etc. The other was earnest and helpful and kind and I only wanted to buy from the first guy. BTSG is spot-on and it's embarrassing to realise it so late.
