A reminder that over the next couple of days NFL teams will have to release or waive over 1,180 players in order to reduce the roster to 53. Let's not forget these are people with actual lives and not just fantasy or video game characters. Many of them will lose their job and will have to find a new career, away from what they've done for the past 15-20 years. For around 500 of them, they'll get to stick around on practice squads but the rest will have to adjust to life without playing Football again, at least not in the NFL. Let's try to show them respect in this process.

It's crazy how many people want to see LeBron James fail. Even when 8th graders fail a math test, it's seen as a failure for LeBron. Like he's LeTeacher or something. "0% of 8th graders in LeBron's 'I Promise' School have passed the state's math exam since 2018." The most important thing when a new headline comes out isn't the information that's mentioned, but the information that is deliberately left out. Let's be clear: ZERO students passing is a bad thing. But there's more to this story mainstream media doesn't want you to hear: 🔸To qualify for the 'I Promise' School you must come from the bottom 25% of the state's reading exam. 🔸28% of students at the school have a disability. 🔸Most admitted students are not proficient in math at their grade level. They are years behind coming in. 🔸42% of these students progressed a full year in math, but they're not proficient at their grade level yet. 🔸The entire country is seeing reading and math test scores plummet since the pandemic. 🔸Overall, reading and math scores throughout America have been significantly declining since 2012. Anyone can find this information, but most won't bother considering the only reason they're talking about 8th-grade math in the first place is because it's linked to a celebrity. LeBron's mission is not just to make 13-year-olds pass an exam. The bigger purpose of his school is to attack a generational education issue in America. An issue where at-risk kids don't get the classrooms, teachers, and opportunities LeBron is providing at his school. But the internet just doesn't seem to care…🤷🏽‍♂️

Not enough people is talking about Julian Okwara man. He clearly made the play of the day sacking Fields in that last drive. Ton of effort, nothing but GRIT! He fell down, got up and took a chunk of a knee cap! #OnePride

@erikschlitt @LionsBreakdown I'm liking the wr from Cincinnati Alec pierce. In your opinion is he the real deal as a playmaker, what round is he projected and do you feel like he's a good fit for the Lion?

Zach Line, the former NFL fullback for the Saints and Vikings, is the football coach at Oxford High in Michigan, where there was a school shooting Tuesday. One of the students who died was one of his players. Line is trying to raise money for the families of the victims.

This Fox story remarkably makes no mention of how, after falling ill with Covid, Phil Valentine regretted not getting a vaccine and not being more pro-vaccine on air with his audience.
