This is the STUPIDEST Economic Theory EVER. Stop saying Trump is crashing the economy to lower rates, and refinance our debt. It's simply economically ignorant. Here's why: - Tanking the economy also tanks Tax revenue, meaning it INCREASES OUR DEBT. - Tanking the dollar and economy tanks trust in the US dollar and thus actually raises interest rates as the government has to raise them to sell bonds. - A bad economy typically leads to more government spending on: Unemployment benefits, Food assistance, Stimulus programs. These people who Fox Business bring on are economically illiterate when it comes to this stuff.
