Does anyone know when the AQA Geography GCSE mark schemes for the November 2021 papers are going to be released? They are not on eAQA. I was hoping my year 11s could do some of these papers for their mocks next week! 2020 papers have copyright issues so running out of options!

Not sure what school it was, but if you took a trip to Joss Bay today then your students were fantastically well-behaved and your staff were awesome. Very impressed with the organisation, and efficiency with the gazebos. It looked like everyone had a great day. So lovely to see!

Please help #geographyteacher! Been told today no residential field trip this year or next for GCSE group. Normally go to Juniper Hall (rivers). Where can we go in Kent, away from the general public for any type of Physical fieldwork with no equipment or budget to get any? 🤔

Been asked to provide a 30-60min activity for any of our students and families to take part in of an evening or weekend. Was thinking something environmental/geography related but minimal preparation time. Maybe watch parts of a documentary and discuss afterwards Any other ideas?

It was horrible trying to administer covid tests to my own children. As a teacher I don't want to have to test other people's children in case I cause harm. As a parent I don't want my children's teachers to feel that same burden, I'd rather they just got on with teaching them!

Can't some of the 1.62 million unemployed people be paid to test the students and staff in schools, and do the contact tracing, instead of teachers. I think teachers might have other things to do. I heard there was £22bn budget for such things... 🤔

Blended learning. Approx 75% of cohort in classroom, 25% joining lessons via Google Meet. Desktop PC with webcam that doesn't face the main screen or whiteboard. Teacher in mask or visor. Any tips for success?

Has anyone had an online interview for a #geographyteacher job? What sort of questions were you asked about your teaching if you couldn't teach a lesson? Any unusual questions or something that you weren't expecting? Would appreciate any tips. Thanks!

I ran today, for the first time in over a year. Considering I used to run half marathons for fun I found C25K W1D1 quite a challenge. Determined to get back up to 5k before the end of the school holidays and hopefully be back at #parkrun when it restarts! Bring on day 2!

I've gained an extra year 8 lesson in the last week of term that I wasn't expecting. Can any #geographyteacher help me out with some unusual (Geography) quiz rounds? Like the emoji countries/capitals one. I know there were a few about but I can't find any ones with answers.

Are there any interactive remote-learning style resources available for teaching some of the AQA A-Level hazard models to my year 12s? (I normally don't teach this until year 13 and do them as group activities). Can any #geographyteacher help me think of ways to deliver this?
