Timeless @timelessGTM

If you're a dude wanting to "make it" If you feel stuck Ask yourself -Have I sacrificed everything I possibly can -Do I put in 12 hours daily -Am I doing many things VS just this 1 thing -Do I train for this like an athlete Why: I guarantee if you audit your day to day you will find out why you're truly stuck. You're not REALLY trying. So many times in my life I got stuck moving up the ladder of success (still do, I'm trend towards being an F-up). Every time I run this audit and I find -I'm spending 2-3 hours a day with TV/Games/Social media/phone. -I'm not optimizing my diet/health for peak creativity -I'm doing 3-4 different things and splitting my focus -I'm simply not putting the time in. -I'm not actually taking real risk (the key to triggering all of this) Every time. I guara-an-fooking-tee that if you -Sacrifice everything except family (for a time) -Give up ALL hobbies/time sinks besides reading -Clock 10-12 REAL hours a day -Stop drinking, smoking and eating crap No matter how dumb and disadvantaged you are...You will win. The hack to all of this is to actually take big financial risk that will not kill you, BUT put enough pressure on you that you don't have an option to feck about. It's not a luck thing. It's not a you thing. It's a focus, quality and volume thing. Isolate your focus by cutting everything Optimize the quality by fixing your fecked brain Increase the volume You will become a millionaire. Even if you're a dumb shit inbred mouth breathing r-tard.

personalization in outbound is the biggest waste of time in the entire sales industry and i will die on this hill every single normie on this app is obsessed with it custom first lines. linkedin scrapers. "hey i saw your post about hiking with your kids, love that" opening lines that are supposed to make the prospect feel like you really did your research let me tell you what that actually does it makes them think this is automated. and they skip it or worse, it creeps them out. some stranger on the internet just referenced their kids and their weekend hobbies in a cold email trying to sell them software. the prospect reads that and immediately feels like someone went through their medicine cabinet before knocking on the door everybody in the chain knows this is performative. but the entire industry keeps doing it because some guy with 50k followers posted a thread about it in 2022 and nobody ever questioned whether it actually moved the needle Anyone that's tested this will tell you that the difference in reply rates is so small it's statistical noise you know what does move the needle? saying the right thing the thing that makes the prospect stop and think "wait, how does this person know about this" that has nothing to do with their linkedin activity or their podcast appearances or their dog's name it has everything to do with understanding what their CEO is worried about that nobody on their team is surfacing when you combine clean data with a clean offer pointed at the right persona and the right message, that combination will outperform any personalized opener you've ever written by a factor of 10 we landed a 30k contract with a massive brand by sending one cold email with zero personalization. we wrote a message that spoke to a metric gap nobody else in their orbit had identified, and the CEO booked a call the same week because the message was right. we didn't need to mention his ted talk and honestly the only form of personalization that actually has any real effect is calling someone on the phone or meeting them in person because then they know for sure a real human being is on the other end. that's the only context where "personalization" actually registers as genuine everything else is theater you're spending hours scraping linkedin profiles and writing custom openers when you could be spending that time figuring out what the prospect's team is hiding from them one of those activities makes you feel productive. the other one actually books meetings stop optimizing the wrapping paper and figure out what's supposed to be inside the box

@ricardogorski Cyprus $973k with proper structure

I watched a founder burn 5-figures on cold email infrastructure to generate like 4 qualified pipeline calls. He bought 60 secondary domains, warmed up 180 inboxes, and hired an offshore scraper to pull 40,000 verified leads. Ran five copy variants with dynamic liquid syntax. Technically, his deliverability was pristine. His bounce rate stayed under 1.8%. His campaign still flat-lined because he was firing 10,000 emails a week into inboxes where 50 other vendors were sending the exact same pitch. GTM advice right now is split between two lazy camps. Camp one tells you to pick one channel and go all in. Camp two tells you to be everywhere, distribute across five platforms, and build an omnipresence flywheel. Both camps give terrible advice because they ignore the single variable that actually dictates outbound CAC: Channel Density versus Channel Efficacy. Efficacy is whether the channel can physically reach the buyer. Density is how many competitors are screaming in that buyer's ear through that exact medium right now. Most founders obsess over efficacy while ignoring density completely. Cold email has high efficacy for a VP of Engineering. The inbox is active and the mail server accepts the MX record, so the message physically lands. But nowadays having all the bells and whistles gets you at best on par with all the other cold email bros. That's why the density is fatal. That same VP gets 80 cold pitches a day, so your sequence has to compete against an avalanche of generic noise. You are playing a lottery where the odds get worse every month. We worked with a team brokering deals for car rental fleet operators. Every competitor was hammering the owners on email and LinkedIn, generating zero replies because the inboxes were completely saturated. We pulled the list back, printed 100 physical letters, slipped them into odd-dimension padded mailers, and sent them directly to the operations yard. Those 100 letters generated 4 commercial relationships which originated ~$300,000 in contracts. The physical mailer had high efficacy because the package landed straight on the owner's desk, and that desk had zero competitor density. Same rule applies to luxury niche services. Everyone in that market insists deals only happen through referrals and closed country club networks. We built an origination system generating 60 to 70 meetings a month in that exact vertical. We found where the buyers actually communicated without sales noise, entered at peer status, and originated predictable pipeline while competitors sat around waiting for word of mouth. You do not need to be everywhere. That is how early stage teams run out of cash before finding product market fit. Rank your channels by two metrics: verified ICP presence and competitor noise. Find the single channel with high efficacy and lowest density. Originate predictable pipeline there first. Lock in cash flow. Once you have consistent deal flow, layer on your second channel as a trust accelerator. Efficacy / Density = $

Yesterday I was on a call with leadership at an IT firm I just engaged. They were completely paralyzed trying to pick THE NAME of the new product they are rolling out. They sat in internal meetings for weeks inventing clever positioning, buzzwords, and product names from scratch. I stopped them and asked one question: "Are you already selling this to existing accounts, and do you have call recordings?" They did. Most operators try to be clever marketers. They sit in a conference room guessing how buyers think instead of stealing the exact vocabulary their customers already hand them. The fix was stupid simple: pull recorded sales and renewal calls. Transcribe every sentence where the buyer explains why they bought, what was breaking, and how they describe the product internally. Take those exact phrases. Put them verbatim into your cold outbound, landing page, and discovery scripts. This brings me to the core rule of B2B distribution: Altitude Matching. You penetrate saturated markets by matching the exact operational altitude of the person you want to sell. If you pitch an enterprise VP with agency jargon, they know you've never run a real org. If you pitch a 10-person business with enterprise framework speak, they assume you cost $10k a month and ghost you. High-status enterprise operators only respond to technical precision and operator vocabulary that proves you understand their exact bottleneck. We just kicked off a collaboration with this IT firm to rebuild their entire origination from scratch. I'm documenting the whole thing as always, but can share the developments on here(obv anonymized since we're under NDA). Drop a comment if you want me to share the behind-the-scenes teardown as we roll it out.

@crewlet_ Can I DM you?

@nifinet Spot on. Timing + tight ICP makes outbound feel like an intervention instead of spam. When you diagnose the exact bottleneck they're seeing on their own scorecard, you don't need gimmicks. Talk like an operator who's seen the movie 100 times.

Outbound never died - mediocre outbound just hit zero ROI. When everyone blasts generic AI sequences, the bar for actual relevance moves 10x higher. The operators winning right now aren't doing tricks; they diagnose a specific trigger at executive altitude, isolate one single wedge offer, and speak the buyer's language before pitching. High craftsmanship wins every time.

@FidelCacheFlow 🎯

@ScorpiionRos The irony is that I sent that comment late at night lmao I agree that irl interactions are >>>

It's more likely that no hard filtering gets applied but rather a summary. So since the messaging of most people is the same it will read something like: "Here's the last activity 2 emails in the thread about X 17 emails that can offer you leads ..." You won't read anything unless it's meaningfully different, which is the same as today really. Except for normies that get 0.8% reply rate and spam volume - they will get wiped

@NicolasLecocqHQ Write for the human's immediate operational friction. If your email speaks directly to a specific trigger and problem at executive altitude, it passes both the semantic gatekeeper and gets the buyer to reply in 5 seconds.

Spot on. Last job I had as an AE was exactly like that, managers staring at dashboards and deciding that increased activity or more pipeline rotations were solutions. But if the targeting vehicle is vague and the rep doesn’t know the single metric the buyer cares about, 1,000 extra dials just burns the TAM faster.

@CharlieBennett Clean stack sir

@theroborourke It's literally free money converting an extra lead that already booked. Same for nurture in between call 1 and call 2

@marclou Fastest-growing startup of the week feels like saying tallest kid in kindergarten. +4,038% from tiny numbers is still good, but people read that like it's Nvidia.

@ItalianMate 0.7% reply rate. 3 espresso shots per booked call.

@daedalusa4 This is about founders trying to outsource the hard part before they've even touched it. Half the bad outbound I get feels like someone delegated a mystery they never solved themselves.

@sotirisgiann Counterpoint, the big players are probably getting the same cold email with their name misspelled and a Calendly link. We just don't get to watch them delete it in real time.
