At the end of the parenting day, my husband and I are fall-on-the-bed-and-pass-out exhausted. Some people say it’s because we didn’t plan well enough; we weren’t organized enough; we aren’t disciplined enough. I think it’s because we are doing it right.

70% of our immune system is in our gut, so in order to keep our immune system strong we must keep our gut healthy. When our immune system is strong, more energy is freed up for us to compete and move about our daily lives at our highest levels. Who doesn’t want more energy!

Dan Buettner has studied the blue zones for over 2 decades now. These are areas where the most congregated number of centenarians live. He says one of his biggest epiphany’s he had was recognizing these people don’t pursue health, it’s just a way of life for them.
