Tennessee is allocating $1 BILLION to higher education, raising teacher pay, and expanding summer learning camps! Investing in schools and student success is an investment in the future of all Tennesseans.
Y’all better not give in to clowns like @ChrisMurphyCT and @brotherjones_ hell, Jones has shown himself to be a violent extremist on video… my family moved away from CT to TN BECAUSE of clowns like Murphy and to TN where the 2nd Amendment is respected. Protect the schools, defend the children, but don’t punish the law-abiding for the evil acts of nutty leftists.
@tnhousegop Without violence control against teachers by students, no amount of money will bring my wife back to teaching.
@tnhousegop @78RepLittleton @78RepLittleton what you are allowing to happen to these children is sickening. You will be held accountable. How do u sleep at night?
@tnhousegop All that still doesn’t address the trauma of school shootings and active shooter drills on the faculty and students.
@tnhousegop You mean re-education facilities, right? #ETTD
@tnhousegop “Higher education” is education *beyond* high school. My main takeaway from this post (and from my experience as a TN parent) is that TN needs to invest so much more in K-12 public education—to teachers, to kids, to resources.
@tnhousegop Not all. Kids who need healthcare, adults who need healthcare, people who deserve not to experience discrimination because they may look or believe differently, all who are tired of deaf ears not hearing our demands for gun laws. You have failed.
@tnhousegop And what about the $1.5 billion you turned down by not expanding Medicaid? Money that Tennessee could have used to improve the health of one of the most unhealthy states in the Union.
