Take A Good Look: Brand Impact/The Great Depression. In the late 20s Post & Kellogg were tied in market share for bfast cereal. When the depression hit, Post cut cost. Kellogg doubled their ad budget. By 1933, Kellogg’s profits grew 30% & they've lead in market share ever since.
