It's incredible how crazy good some of the original @twilio values were. Wear the customers' shoes, progress over perfection, no shenanigans, and draw the owl. When building @PropelDataCloud we keep coming back to them consciously and unconsciously.

- Microservices are hard. - Building reliable and testable microservices is a lot harder than most folks think - Effectively *testing* microservices requires a ton of tooling and foresight. - A Netflix/Uber style microservices isn't required by many (most?) orgs. - Macroservices?

Suggestion: Stop using the term Human Resources or HR. Use the older, and vastly better, "Personnel Dept." instead. If somebody says HR, correct them ("Humans aren't resources; do you mean Personnel?") until the term fades away. #WeAreNotResources

The more I work in Open Source, the more I see that the PRs on the GitHub profiles are just the tip of the iceberg of fuckloads of work that doesn't get publicly recognised ;)
