I feel like I should buy a lottery ticket. I was able to book 3 clients living in the same golf/retirement community back to back. That has never happened in the 15 years I've been doing this.
It's a good sign when I arrive for my weekly covid test at MSH and the parking lot is the emptiest I have seen, there's only 2 registration ppl, and I find out they're closed on weekends now.
I hate when I know that lunch starts at 12pm at a nursing home but the nurse says it starts at 11:30 (even after I questioned her, she says they eat earlier on that floor), so I show up at 11:30 only to have to sit and wait until likely 12...
@UPS_Canada so UPS driver doesn't read properly and delivers to wrong address for 2 packages. They've located the packages but send it back to the shipper so I have to call each one to have them reship it? How does that make sense when it was your fault, UPS?
Just used the family bathroom at Longo's Stouffville and when the door opened, I got hit by the smell of weed... What are ppl doing in family bathrooms?
When you ask for hot water at a Chinese restaurant in Cantonese... Then English... And the waitress still has no idea what you want... What to do?
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!! It was the warmest birthday I've ever had besides maybe the 2 birthdays I had in HK before coming to Canada... Today I wore my spring jacket and rain boots... Lol...
Second time in a row that @tenrenstea has given me the wrong tea in my drink (different locations)...first it was a 30 min wait, only to find out when I got home that it was green tea... Now I'm home and find out it's black tea today... I just want my peach oolong tea...
@alectranews Power came back on for 2 mins and then back out again? Woodbine/elgin mills
@ ten ren's having dinner. A couple walked in with a chatime bake code cake box, sat down @ a table, ordered a snack, & are eating the cake.
Waiting for a PSW to show up to feed a client... It's been 35mins so far...i knew it was a bad sign when there were no cars when I arrived.
I stopped @ a red light & a lady pulls up next to me & says: "excuse me! I really like your hair!" thought she was going to ask 4 directions
FB memories reminded me that 10 years ago today, I saw my first official client as an SLP. Happy 10 year anniversary to me! Lol...
Majority of my day was tracking down a prescription (from hospital) for a client and making sure it got faxed to the pharmacy. New SLP role?
Liked seeing that the blue power ranger has ASD....Not so sure about delinquents who become super heroes, being role models for kids tho....
Trip to loblaws for healthy eating tour with an RD and a cooking class.... With bus load of 3-6 year olds... This will be interesting....
When a student acts up & is very rude to you and other teachers, but in presence of non-teachers, is cute & angelic, it's a little scary....
I like how Nike notifies me that my package has been shipped AFTER I've received it...
Just realized client's cat must have rubbed against my jacket... Because my face is super itchy right now...
Anyone have an equation for figuring out what time to start getting a 3 year old ready so that we can be out the door by a specific time?
