After accounting for inflation, hourly wages have barely budged since 2020, per Bloomberg.
@unusual_whales Good thing @POTUS is doing a wonderful job bringing down inflations…
@unusual_whales inflation on the other hand, has budged a LOT.
@unusual_whales Wages not budging and inflation is staying sticky.
@unusual_whales Wages not budging and inflation is staying sticky.
@unusual_whales Yet news media blames the consumer for the inflation … 😑
@unusual_whales This is why, second jobs and additional sources of income through side hustles etc. continue to rise vs previous years.
@unusual_whales Wages have gone up, but purchasing powered has stayed flat. Disappointing, but true.
@unusual_whales Taking Housing/Food/Transportation into account hourly wages have probably decreased
@unusual_whales But @POTUS says inflation is at 0% ? #bidenomics
@unusual_whales I still haven’t felt inflation, in 2020 I lowered my housing cost by $700 per month, loaded up on staple items end of 2021 and cut back on eating out (never use Uber eats). Inflation is what you make of it.
