The main reason not upgrading to 6 lane could be the opening of the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. 🛣️ If the 6-laning is completed, load on the expressway will be much less. This expressway should have been parallel to NH, like the Lucknow–Kanpur Expressway.

One thing I can’t understand, why is @NHAI_Official not building the entire route at once? 🤔 Feels like politics: giving 1 candy at a time, even when we need 4. Moradabad–Bareilly–Lucknow–Ayodhya–Gorakhpur needs 6 lanes end-to-end, but they do 1 section every 5 years.
