Let me explain a couple things that not only would be helpful to you in the event you shoot someone, but also covers LE. The “reasonable person” test. Would a reasonable person believed what you believed at the time. A furtive movement, is defined as any movement that can reasonably lead to the assumption that a weapon is being reached for, whether that weapon exists or not. Also, murder requires premeditation, stop calling the MN observer death a murder. You’d have to be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that those involved showed up with the intent to kill that specific person. Being able to slow down video, pause, and analyze is not the same as split second decision making. As a law abiding gun owner who decided to carry in public a greater sense of responsibility is on your shoulders. You should never get into a physical altercation while carrying, especially with LE.
