i get warned by clankers that i need documentation and docstrings to impress senior devs, and i ngmi without it.
new school devs seem to say docstrings just mean your code is messy and not directly readable,
what is best? lol
what is the best thing to use to have a site with aesthetics that are competitive with most things you see on web3 and allows for modular code?
plan is to have docker container metrics as dicts in websockets/endpoints, frontend should be somewhat plug and play if possible
how many people would be subscribed to #TradingView purely for having access to the strategy -> webhook stuff?
anyone knows people who are, or are doing this themselves?
if you launch no-coder cli tools ( the friend has not much coding knowledge)
do you wrap things like opening and closing ports in bash scripts? and also the package installing?
or should i just add a readme?
No updates this week, main project moved to side project 😅
cooking up some things with @THEGOATLEVI101
also working on some custom code for my mate, thinking about shipping this. But feedback first.
building for/with other people been a whole new experience, enjoying it

Making my first tool that i wont use myself for a friend,
basicly sending his webhooks from his trading strategy to his broker,
i dont want to monetize it since its too simple, but i do want to publish it, add more brokers if its worth it.
how do you go about this? ko-fi?
Anyone else guilty of having somewhat shitty code, and justifying it by adding it to the to do list and "fixing it later"?😳
im noticing im getting a bit complacent with the less exciting code, will break this habit asap lol.
Happy new week,
what are you all working on?
i will be trying to finish my multi purpose agents(s).
automatic updating of docs on code progress,
status reports based on logs,
start of info point for clients.
do you think i should ship this standalone?
decided to post weekly update on my main project, keeps me accountable to document.
last days not much code, learning about running AI locally. and minimizing inference time.
also building reusable universal helpers, slowed down on project, but speeding up future development.

As solo self educated dev, can heavily recommend the x communitys,
whenever i get lost or overwhelmed helps a lot to see people already did it and are thriving with it,
not to mention its really motivating to show up and see others showing up.
bless the grinders!
moved entire codebase(wip) documentation to Obsidian.
love the visual aspect of it, makes stuff a lot easyer to maintain. nice to not have to share source code for onboarding.
not to mention future proofing for intergrating some clankers and giving context without prompting.👀
Best way to document a big stack?
Im self educated, never really documented outside of docstrings.
Im not asking how to document, but more so how to have a meaningfull overview with minimal bloat. Where the client can easily jump in and set up, without having to jump in code.
still working on infra, goal is to have llms basicly be the word paperclip for my stack.
eventually need a ML pipeline too for training financial models,
right now running ubuntu on my pc and offloading all gpu tasks to it, opens up room for dedicated GPU machine down the line
