Couldn’t be more proud of our boys this fall. They battled all kinds of setbacks and injuries & still competed at a high level. It took the entire team. Everyone contributed in big ways all season long. We’re a better team because of it.

Tip of the cap to all the incredible teams we faced this wknd at PG Coastal Fall WS in Glen Allen, VA. Battled through bracket play in 2 fantastic baseball games and came up short in championship. Makin memories, gettin better. @westraleighbaseball @PGYouthBB @Travelball247

We loved (as always) our time with the great people and incredible facility @TheShipyardPark last weekend. One thing we loved even more??? NO. BLING....Just Championship hats and all you can drink Gatorade. That may be the best championship we’ve won in a long time!
Earned the #1 seed going into bracket play after outscoring 3 opponents 35-0 in pool play. Semi-finals start at 12 against Sumter Braves on the Port Field. We Love playing at the beautiful @TheShipyardPark complex.

HITTERS: If you're a "power hitter" making CONTACT should be a high priority. Try and hit .300 Because in order to hit .300 you have to square up the ball. And the more times you square up the ball, at the end of the year, your power numbers will be there #GoodBatting

I used to think Appalachian State’s football stadium had a pretty incredible setting. Then I saw their baseball field.
Pitchers, set the tone early. Try this: Be the 1st one out of the dugout. Get to the mound before the outfielders are off the field. Get your warmup pitches done in 60 seconds. Make the first batter feel rushed. Put pressure on them right away. Added bonus, umpires like it too.
