Your main character needs a real tangible goal,(also called), an OUTER MOTIVATION, that they work towards throughout the whole story, e.g. win the race/get the girl/find the treasure. #screenwriting #writingtips #writinglife #screenplays #amwriting

@writingaspirer Spielberg says a good story is a vivid concept expressible in 50 words or less. Stephen King suggests good story ideas come from asking 'What if...?' So I guess you could draw fifty dashes on a piece of paper, start with 'What if...' then compose your thought-provoking concept.

Going to start at the very beginning (a very good place to start) and delve into the very first thing required to. An IDEA! It seems the cool kids are calling it a good CONCEPT. All attest it is key to test your concept. What should all iron clad concepts contain? IYHO?
