The Bioluminescent algae is back in SoCal. Such a surreal sight. I can only imagine what people thought about this hundreds of years ago. A message from the gods perhaps? Obviously, they weren’t aware that it’s all due to climate change.

the pandemic just destroyed the cities, their whole spirit. i used to love living in munich, felt homesick whenever i wasn’t there. since 2020, i can’t bear it. a huge upside of ditching the day job, is i won’t ever have to go back. the whole place just feels dead now.
