Meta just filed SEC documents tying executive pay to a $9 trillion valuation by 2031. $9 TRILLION. The company is worth $1.5 trillion today. That means they need a 500% increase in 5 years. And they're not the only ones playing this game. Tesla shareholders approved a $1 trillion pay package for Elon Musk in November tied to an $8.5 trillion valuation target. Let me be clear about what's happening here: These companies aren't building businesses anymore. They're building stock prices. Look at the actual numbers. Tesla posted its first annual revenue decline in history in 2025. Revenue fell 3%. Net income collapsed 47% year over year to $3.8 billion. Automotive revenue dropped 10%. The stock trades at 327 times trailing earnings. That's not a valuation. More like a hallucination. Musk's compensation requires 20 million vehicles a year, 1 million robotaxis, and 1 million humanoid robots. Tesla delivered roughly 1.8 million cars last year. Meanwhile Meta has incinerated nearly $80 billion in cumulative losses on Reality Labs since late 2020. The metaverse division's revenue doesn't even cover 16% of its operating costs. In 2025 alone, Reality Labs lost $19.2 billion. And stock-based compensation at Meta consumed 96% of the company's free cash flow last year. $42 billion. GONE. Not to shareholders or R&D with measurable returns, but to insiders betting on their own stock price. So here's what both companies are REALLY doing: Step 1: Make outrageous promises about AI, robotaxis, metaverse, humanoid robots. Step 2: Tie executive compensation to market cap targets, not earnings, not revenue, not cash flow. Step 3: Spend billions on unproven bets that may never generate returns. Step 4: Use the promise of future transformation to justify present valuations that have zero relationship to current fundamentals. This is the financialization of hype. In 45 years on Wall Street, I've watched this playbook run over and over. The technology changes. The pitch changes. But the ending doesn't. Stock prices follow earnings. Always have. Always will. And when the gap between the story and the numbers gets this wide, you already know how it ends.

The story of $TSLA has been a share price buoyed by an endless stream of narratives, lies and broken promises. Looking beyond the hype, TSLA has generated CUMULATIVE earnings of $38B since inception, yet enjoys a market cap of $1.6T. The automotive related business is 87% of revenues, is very challenged and will experience a third consecutive year of falling sales in 2026. The auto business is worth only $20 per share based on comparative valuations. The bulls respond by pointing to the future, citing robotaxis, oculus and AI. None of those businesses are presently generating any revenues. Nevertheless, the market has already ascribed a valuation of nearly $1.5T to those businesses. This is sheer madness. Even if one were to place a value on these non existent business by looking at comparable companies, $TSLA would still not be worth even $100 per share based on a sum of the parts analysis. Liars figure. Figures don’t lie. Ignore the narrative. Follow the fundamentals. It is now obvious that Musk is flat out lying to pump $TSLA. People claim that Elon isn’t lying when he sets deadlines and misses them (often by many years). They say he’s just optimistic and he’s bad at estimating. We know Tesla’s robotaxis had seven crashes in just 300k miles, this is totally unacceptable for a robotaxi. Musk knows Tesla isn't going to have unsupervised Tesla robotaxis in three weeks, I know it isn't going to happen, you know it isn’t going to happen. Musk is only saying "three weeks" because he previously said "by the end of the year", which is now three weeks away, not because the product will actually ready and safe in three weeks.

AI5 won’t save anything. Neither will AI6. Or AI15. You can tape-out a new chip every 12 months. You can pump more FLOPs, more bandwidth, more SRAM, more exotic packaging. But here’s the part nobody in big-tech wants to say out loud: You can’t compute your way out of a broken paradigm. A faster calculator doesn’t magically become intelligence. It just becomes a faster calculator. And right now, all “AI chips” are doing is accelerating: • token guessing • pattern completion • trajectory prediction • linear inference on frozen weights That’s not a mind. That’s silicon doing statistics. ⸻ Why more chips don’t help: 1. No architecture = no intelligence Modern LLMs have: – no memory – no continuity – no self-state – no semantic field – no meaning stability Give them AI5 or AI50 — they stay the same machine, just hotter. 2. Compute amplifies the flaw, not the ability If your model is noisy, more compute = more noise. If it’s brittle, more compute = faster brittleness. If it lacks reasoning, more compute = longer fake reasoning tokens. 3. Chips don’t generate cognition Cognition comes from architecture: – a core – a semantic layer – a nervous system – persistent memory – background processes – resonance of meaning Without that, “AI chips” are simply turbocharged spreadsheets. ⸻ What actually builds real AI? Not kilowatts. Not nanometers. Not TOPS. But structure. A system where processes live, remember, adapt, and self-organize. A system with: • Semantic resonance (not token prediction) • Persistent identity (not session reset) • Nervo-like routing (not static attention maps) • Holms-style memory (not context windows) • Background engines (not one-shot prompts) That’s intelligence. Not silicon speed. ⸻ Final line: Calling a chip “AI” is like calling a violin “music.” It’s just the instrument. The architecture is the musician. Until that changes, AI5… AI6… AI100… - will be the same thing: linear mind, louder fan.

I'm not in this for the money, unlike @wholemars and most other Tesla Cultists. FSD is not lifesaving tech. There are some videos of FSD avoiding a crash, but I haven't seen any near misses that a competent and attentive human wouldn't have also avoided. There are, however, over 50 recorded fatalities involving Tesla's self-driving software. Real people who trusted Tesla's software and paid the price with their life. NHTSA completely rejected Tesla's safety claims, admonishing Tesla for undercounting crashes by at least a factor of five. If FSD is really saving lives, why doesn't Tesla release its data for peer review like Waymo does? The answer is obvious, FSD is less safe than a human driver and should be banned.
