@Avis I’m President’s Club and you don’t have a car for my reservation at MCO? What’s the point of a reservation? Is this Seinfeld?

New video shows that the final act of his life was trying to help a woman who was being physically assaulted by the masked agents who would then kill him.

"The man fatally shot by federal officers in Minneapolis this morning has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, according to sources familiar with the investigation ... State records show Pretti was issued a nursing license in 2021, and it remains active through March 2026."

@twittytwister35 @MakeMySammyBish @TheChiefNerd @JDVance Your address is part of your application. They ask you on the Common App (that is the application that most students use to apply to college) about your parents' education, but sure, I'm "making stuff up." You're clearly ignorant on this subject and chose to believe what you want

@MakeMySammyBish @nosesniffs @TheChiefNerd @JDVance I'm referring to financial aid at private schools (like Yale where JD went). There is no in-state or out of state. There is one rate of tuition, and many domestic students receive financial aid (a discount). Most international students are full pay and don't qualify for fin aid.

@MakeMySammyBish @TheChiefNerd @JDVance You clearly haven't applied or had a kid apply to a college in the last generation. You are asked about your parent's level of education on the Common App which virtually every college and university uses. You give them your address.

@MakeMySammyBish @TheChiefNerd @JDVance They ask if you are first gen and they can tell from your zip code about the community you live in. Most, if not all, of the elite universities absolutely accept first gen and rural applicants under the DEI umbrella.

@SecDuffy You need to be more descriptive and tell the public exactly what this means and precisely how it will be tested or else you are going to have a lot of people driving in lieu of flying.

OB-GYNS are afraid to practice in Texas. Students and young Texans are taking their talents elsewhere. This is the reality of Ted Cruz’s abortion ban. But it doesn't have to be this way. Together we’ll restore reproductive freedom. star-telegram.com/news/politics-…

Nevaeh Crain visited 2 Texas emergency rooms in 12 hours, returning home each time worse than before. On her third trip, a doctor insisted on 2 ultrasounds to “confirm fetal demise” before moving her to intensive care. Hours later, Nevaeh died. propublica.org/article/nevaeh…

Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.) To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!

Reporter: Vance compared you to a really bad impression of Obama Shapiro: Barack Obama was probably our most gifted orator of my time, so that’s kind of a weird insult. I’ll say this about JD Vance: it’s really hard being honest with the American people when you’re not being honest with yourself. He is the most inorganic candidate I think I have ever seen. He doesn’t know what he believes, and that is why it is impossible for him to articulate a coherent message to the American people—because he doesn’t believe it. This guy is not exactly off to a good start. It is clear that Trump really has buyer’s remorse. So, if he wants to sling insults in my direction, which I’m not even sure is an insult, let him do it. Bring it on. I’ll be ready for whatever JD Vance throws my direction.
