Erroneous question - first you need to look at what the phones are being used for - social media/personal browsing etc? Unacceptable use. To supplement/replace/substitute required (but unavailable) ICT function then that has to either be allowed continue OR fund school issued ICT

This has been a very frustrating week for School principals. We are still waiting for our ancillary grant to be paid. We are told to budget but grants dont arrive. Advice sought on how to pay staff while we wait. Zero response. @Education_Ire 1/2

This year, we'd 63 pupils, over 50% EAL & 10 new entrants. We'd a 12.5 hour fixed term plus 15 hours EAL on OLCS. For next year, we submitted 93 pupils (50% more). Over 40% EAL and still 10 new entrants. They took out 12.5 hour fixed term leaving the 15 hours A 45% cut #2

🌟 EAL hours - Thread 🌟 I celebrated last Monday, a 7.5 hour SET increase after the paperwork of the review. Then Thursday came & our EAL appeal came back. 12.5 hour cut. There are days that make you wonder what the point of this job is at all & that was one of them. #1

The narrative needs to change - adults with lifelong rare conditions need equity in accessing & receiving necessary holistic care. Care shouldn’t stop at paediatrics… why would it?? People inevitability change, some conditions often have symptoms that develop later in life.
