@ryxcommar Land of the Giants has a good episode about it this past season which focused on Tesla: open.spotify.com/episode/64RdgD… A lot of it boils down trying to use software to overcome not using LiDAR and then the challenge of generalizing it to all environments

@philyune @okwalding Peds transplant it can be helpful to know before conditioning. That's literally the only use case I can imagine.

@KaiDaigoji @kareem_carr Also we have no evidence that FTL communication is possible. We have only been looking at the stars for 5000 years and only got okay at it for the last 300. Out of the 13 billion years of possible timepoints we only have had really crappy access to a few millionths of a percent.

Routine monitoring of gastric residual - has little or no effect on NEC & mortality - probably increases time to establish full enteral feeds, TPN days & risk of invasive infection - may increase time to regain birth weight & episodes of feed interruption cochranelibrary.com/cdsr/doi/10.10…

@trpender One time acetaminophen 12.5/kg for a wrist sprain in the ED. I took too long because I didn’t know how to use cerner and the nurse asked the attending to put it in for me.

@aribindi I did not realize having supplies other than procedure kits behind a Pyxis was a possibility. That’s insane.

@YousufMed At least they weren’t the med student who was confused why so many different patients all got sick on February 2nd. That would have been me.

@ZShaheenMdPhD I love how we were supposedly able to negotiate for benefits. Could you imagine a fourth year medical student asking a PD for a 10% raise and a relocation package during their 1-on-1 interview?

Wanna know what happened to the disgraced doctor who falsely claimed the MMR vax causes autism? Who subjected children to unethically invasive procedures (colonoscopies, lumbar punctures)? Who falsified the results to suit his agenda? He lives in a mansion and dated a supermodel

@AlastairMcA30 @rusty_juha I’ve started to tell families who are on the fence about the competing patent and how he made up his data by taking blood from kids at his sons birthday. It has definitely made some reconsider all the anitvax things they read.
