@CatieOsaurus Startup cost, with a bit of “transitions are hard”. Potential antidotes include: breaking tasks into smaller chunks, getting a body double, token systems, self compassion, therapy for cognitive distortions, feeling good feelings you’ll have while accomplishing the tasks, etc!

@NosyDr I think the writing specifically said that it’s unknown what happens to the spirit of men when they die? I could be wrong, but I don’t think there’s evidence suggesting the soul was destroyed.
