One year we included a Dance Division, and we were pleased to meet Jarell, who is an amazing dancer! (It goes without saying that he won!)

Last year, I received a message from Loretta, after she heard me sing my song to her on the @opry. Last night, I shared it in the circle right before I sang it to honor her life & legacy. I hope this makes you smile & hear the essence of how special this woman always will be ♥️🕊

We're saying goodbye to this event. We enjoyed 10 seasons, beginning with the 1st annual competition in 2011, hosting two in 2015, and last holding auditions and competitions in 2019. We loved meeting many of you, so many talented South Carolinians, and we wish you the best!

That’s what our work can do as artists: we remind people that things can change, that wounds can heal, that people can be forgiven, and that closed hearts can open again. 💕✨

@pilotboy2018 I’m so sorry. We lost our moms too; Robert’s passed last September, and mine passed in January. It’s a devastating loss.

So many artists tell me they’re afraid of being “needy” or “pushy” so they don’t ask their fans to support... In this podcast I show you exactly how to do it without sounding needy 👍🏻 rickbarker.com/podcasts/
