@mikewmunz And if I wouldn’t retire soon, I would probably buy SATS too. Because with a job div stops are not as important. The only reason for me to choose STRD was that it had better success rates on my retirement model with my assumptions, that’s all.
@mikewmunz Yup, there is a lot of talk in here but people just go by vibes. My retirement model is on the conservative side, BTC growth 10% years 1-10, 6% onwards, 45-30% volatility, kappa 0.15, etc. This is how I get peace of mind, I know that this is not the base case for BTC.
@mikewmunz It depends on the volatility, drift, kappa you assing BTC, etc etc. In my conservative montecarlo model, with 50k paths for 45 year retirement, chances of at least 1 STRD div stop 5.2%, SATS is 13.3%. And this was enough for my retirement success to be higher with STRD vs SATS.
@mikewmunz Again, this is tail scenarios, which matter more for a retiree depending on the income. I actually believe that the most probable path is both paying divs forever uninterrumpted if BTC keeps appreciating even at a slow pace
@mikewmunz They are, I did the math many times with AI using various models and only with the cash reserve I know that Strategy can keep paying during a financial crisis or depression longer than Strive, then when the cash runs out, Strategy has more BTC to sell to keep paying divs.
@mikewmunz Yes, however as a digital credit company, and the proportionally low div obligations of STRD, I do not expect them stopping divs on STRD unless the whole preferred stocks are suffering significantly. It would hurt their reputation too much compared to what they save stopping divs
@jonwillbanks Exactly, same div amount with STRD, but more upside and ability to trade the cycles if you want to. Glad it helped!

@piovincenzo_ 75% STRD + 25% MSTR with the same amount of money invested in STRK has the same yield but much more upside
@BTCoptioneer I am pro Strategy and STRC, but do they think by artifically pushing it back to $100 suddenly buy limit orders at $100 will trigger or there will be suddenly much more demand at $100 vs $99.5, and continuous not a one time thing? It does not make much sense to me @GrainofSaltSF
