@qatarairways discovered the bags were never transferred to them from @AmericanAir but AA still saying Qatar’s responsible. Plus, time sorting this out with Qatar made us miss our flight to Cape Town yesterday. Spent $2600 to get NEW flights for today to get us to Cape Town.

@AmericanAir still not recognizing that it was them who did not transfer our bags properly to continue our travels and still have not updated our bag tag numbers. #day6nobags Leaving Seychelles to Cape Town today…please send our bags there!

All this after being on hold for over 12 hrs and no sleep. #worsthoneymoon Agent confirmed there’s been NO baggage scans since DFW. Where is the communication breakdown?!?! @AmericanAir sent DM, waiting for response. ???

@AmericanAir Tried calling central baggage dept but got baggage claim. Was informed all offices currently closed at central and in Dallas. Agent transferred me to central baggage to leave a VM while ignoring my question if I would get a call back, to find no VM option available.

Still on hold waiting for central baggage to pick up. Been waiting to get our luggage for 5 days now. @AmericanAir was supposed to send it rushed but no one can confirm if it’s been sent. Been on hold for total of 10hrs now, haven’t slept. Why is this so hard?!?!

C’mon @AmericanAir I’ve had 3 phone calls where I was on hold for at least 3 hrs each, 1st disconnected at hr 3 after being transferred 2x, 2nd reached an agent after 2.5 hrs, then disconnect during the call, now on hold again for 2.5hrs and counting. #lostluggageday5
