@JacobBrunswick @Salvagnine @BernieSanders You couldn’t pay the property taxes on his homes with that income. That’s the problem. He takes loans out against his assets so that he can pay for his lifestyle without tax consequences. This is tax evasion. He should at least pay tax on the $ he needs to maintain his lifestyle.

@JMO83 @MeanderingPhoto @StephenAtHome Loans. He takes loans held against his position in co.’s. No tax on loans and the interest rate from the bank is significantly less than the his return in the market. Hence the need for a wealth tax.

@TakesUnpopular @StephenAtHome Most of that isn’t how he gets out of paying taxes personally. He takes a loan out against his co. Shares. Loans are not income thus no tax. Meanwhile, the interest rate on his loan is considerably lower than his market returns. Hence the need for a wealth tax.

@smittie61984 @SenSanders They pay employee taxes, some state taxes. Just no corporate tax. I’m sure if you look at conglomerates as whole they do in fact pays some tax.
