A few things: Due to a software glitch, KLGX, the radar site in western Washington, stopped making images. That has been fixed. No outage update from NCEP except they extended their critical wx day through Monday. What was down is still down, as far as I can tell. -Gilbert
The NWS primary model data server is still down, but for our NAMNEST soundings, we now point to the backup server. They are now working as of 1:30 AM last night. Thanks to Webmaster Evan for the find on this! Apologies for the inconvenience. Several NWS servers are still down. :(
We realize that the satellite maps are a bit "off". This is a navigation error, and there is nothing we can do about it. Please bear with us as the NWS outage continues. But, the CONUS US sector is now back up with the backup feed. Again, with 10 minute updates. -Gilbert
17 GMT/Zulu/ Noon CT update: The National Weather Service is still having major issues with their data feeds; satellite data is down, but models and now other feeds may be affected. They are aware and are working on the issues. -Gilbert
