@SullyBusiness I think the inverse will also be true. Many employers will find it easier to promote the people they see everyday in the office. Same sentiment as you, not that they should, but they will.

@fortworthchris @amandaorson @StokeNewton @lavenderjones__ After over a year of working fully remote, I’d almost pay you to give me places to go every day and things that do that aren’t on Zoom. I understand some really like WFH, it just isn’t for me. Not full time at least.

@nathanbarry Ditto to most/all replies so far. Mentioning black out curtains again because it’s super important to me. Another nice touch - a stash of travel sized toiletries, shampoo, cheap toothbrush, razor etc. The kind of stuff a hotel will give me if I forgot my own.

@theSamParr There’s a flip side from the employers perspective as well. Companies based in “boring” locations where location used to be a barrier to recruiting/hiring can now realize more WFH employees and their corporate HQ location matters much much less.

@sweatystartup Similar thought here. Weather is turning nice here in Michigan, lots of messy looking yards with leftover leaves from the fall, limbs, etc. There is definitely $1000 worth of clean up work in just about any neighborhood right now.
