@MrTomMcDermott Didn't you say an agent told you that united were acting differently this summer. More of a plan and more considered around targets? Have you spoken to him since?

@R_o_M You thought this summer they have to get it right after the worst season in memory but no, useless as ever. The way city and Liverpool operate just shows why we are so far behind. They get the right people in. We gave director of football to someone already at the club

@MrTomMcDermott Its already too late. Season starts on Sunday. The way City and Liverpool do business shows up exactly where the gaps are off the pitch. Looked all over the world for a director of football and gave the job to someone who already worked at united. Not surprised this is the result

@sampilger Not a like for like comparison though is it. Incompetence all around Ronaldo that wasn't the same when Rooney wanted out. Fans see far bigger issues than Ronaldo

@GNev2 then today ten hag says its not OK? What is going on at our club. Its a complete shambles and the new manager is already undermined every other day by the clowns around him. Henderson says he wanted to leave before ten hag saw him. So he's not in charge of who stays?!?

🗞 #mufc have clarified that Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Old Trafford prior to the final whistle is not an issue for them, and that he was one of a number of players to do so. [Sky Sports]
