I've given up watching the news, I will find transcripts of the stories I want to hear, but my PTSD gets triggered by watching it on any channel/station/platform. Newspapers should be printed on TP at this point so I can read it and then wipe the poo with it and flush it away.

Disabled FB & thinking about doing the same to the rest of my social media. Posting my truth is not safe because people violate trust & I get attacked for it. Come to me with my mistakes, don't show them to abusive liars while I am fixing them. Just makes things worse.

It's gross how fast a convo with family turns into trying to parent shame me. I'm not going to abuse my kids into "liking" things they don't want to do just because you think it's good for them. Just like I am not going to try to beat the ND out of them like people tried with me.
