@_APWK_ This legitimately happened in my daughter’s class a few years ago. Everyone except my child (who hadn’t gotten the flu shot) got the flu.

@curious_founder I’ve been feeding my T1D diabetic husband for 15 yrs. A child at my church was just diagnosed with diabetes, and they told her to eat whatever she wants and just count carbs. They fed her a snickers bar in the hospital for a bedtime snack. Advice so bad that it’s nearly criminal.

@BowTiedDaddy My 15 year old son is in a program like this. It’s one day per week of farm work together in the morning with prayer time, small group time, literature study, and Biblical Greek in the afternoon. The boys focus on what community should (i.e. used to) look like. It’s incredible.

@OldHollowTree We have carpet in one room of the house, and the everyone congregates there because it’s so cozy. I try to hate carpet, but it is pretty awesome.
